As a valve control device for the molten metal container, sliding gate mechanism is extremely important. PN315 sliding gate mechanism has components consisted of base, framework, sliding machine and elastic parts. The fixed sliding machine reciprocates within the framework, and the elastic parts help to create fixed and symmetric pressure between the slide surfaces.

The features of PN315 Sliding Gate Mechanism are as follows:

1. Fixed slide mechanism is constructed for easy installation and disassembly.

2. When the door closes, the spring is without pressure. When the fixed slide mechanism is on the slide way, springs will apply pressure to the upper and lower slide plates automatically. At the same time, invariable and symmetrical side pressure is kept to make sure the mechanism can run safely.

3. Special air cooling measures are employed. Not only the spring elements, but also the framework and fixed slide mechanism can be cooled.

4. Compound insulation barriers provide a simple structure with a low conductance of heat radiated from molten metal.

5. The base, framework and fixed slide mechanism are all made of high temperature abrasive material, featuring good resistance to deformation and long service life.

6. Spring elements are fine disk springs which are minimally affected under high temperature. The long-lasting spring elements require checking every 200 heats and laboring time is reduced.

7. Special pre-tight device guarantees the pressure is equalized across the slide plates. This in turn reduce the cracks resulting from low thermal shock resistance under high temperature.

8. The unique spiral structure of lower nozzle cover and the sliding car allows the easy installation and application of the lower nozzle.

9. Without any steel shell covered on the slide plates, the production cost is greatly reduced without hurting the performance. 

10. The continuous casting ratio is increased. This helps to lower the labor intensity and promote the rotation speed as well. Thus the amount of ladles in circulation is reduced, so is the production cost.

11. The main parts such as the framework and the motion controlling lock are protected from distortion and easy to maintain. 

This mechanism is widely applied in iron and steel industries like CUU in Vietnam, Yigang Steel in Shanxi, Yueyufeng in Zhuhai and Lianfeng Steel in Jiangsu and it has been proved to perform well. Currently this mechanism is being introduced to non-ferrous industry.
