PRCO Functional Refractories Co., Ltd is specialized in the comprehensive research, technological development, production and management and site construction service of functional refractories such as nozzles, ladle bricks, functional items for continuous casting, porous curtain block and the matching equipment and silicon nitride bonded silicon carbide bricks for electrolytic aluminum. Among the refractories industry, PRCO Functional Refractories Co., Ltd firstly passed the ISO9001:2000 International Quality Management Certification, the GB/T28001-2001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System and the GB/T24001-2004/ISO14001:2004 Environmental Management System Certification.

In 2005, the High Performance Slide Plate was identified as the National Key New Product, the Torch Program of Henan Province, the Famous Brand in Henan Province and the High-Tech New Product in Henan Province and was awarded the Second Prize of Scientific and Technological Progress of Henan Province.

The casted monolithic stopper was listed as the National Science and Technology Achievements Key Promotion Project in 2005. The High Performance Ladle Shroud won the Gold Prize in the Advanced Technology Application Exchange Meeting in 2005.

On December 7th, 2007, company’s project of the development of Silicon Nitride Bonded Silicon Carbide Bricks successfully passed the appraisal of provincial level experts. This project was tested by the Test Center of National Metallurgical Industry Engineering Quality Supervision Station, all performance indexes reached or exceeded the requirement of YB4035-91.

The Tightening Mechanism of Upper Nozzles, Slide Plate Mechanism, Range Positioning Mechanism for Ladle Slide Plate Mechanism developed by PRCO Functional Refractories Co., Ltd are authorized and patent protected by the State Patent Bureau. The technology is leading in domestic industry. In 2009 and 2012, PRCO Functional Refractories Co., Ltd was identified as the High-Tech Enterprise for two times. 

In 2009, PRCO Functional Refractories Co., Ltd was assessed as the Civilized and Honest Enterprise by Puyang City. The company was entitled as the Star Enterprise for the second session.
