It is inevitable to create joints and cracks around the tap hole areas while changing the EBT bricks. In order to patch such joints and cracks under high temperature, PRCO developed PN-DRX series of hot repair mixes to fix this. These mixes are made from magnesia-based materials with ferrous and calcium elements. They show the features of high strength at both low and high temperature and excellent erosion/corrosion resistance. They are ideal choices for the hot repairs of the EAF tap hole and bottom. 

Packing: 1000kg/bag, 500kg/bag, 50kg/bag, 25kg/bag, 10kg/bag or 5kg/bag as required.

Storage & Handling: The filling material must be well protected against dampness or moisture. It is normal if few agglomeration appears.

Shelf Life: 6 Months.
