Tap hole filling mass is used in the EAF tap hole to prevent molten steel from flowing into tap hole before tapping. On the exposed surface of the filling mass produces a sintered layer thick enough to prevent molten-steel penetration, at the same time, thin enough to allow it to break out under the pressure of the molten-steel when the tap hole is opened and filling mass beneath the sintered layer flows can come out freely.

PN series of tap hole filling mass features easy installation, safe application, non-floating, high self-opening rate and non-pollution etc.

This series has been successfully applied in over 20 steel plants including Lianyuan Steel, Guangzhou Steel, Bayi Steel and Suzhou Steel, etc.

Packing: 25kg/bag or 500kg/bag on wooden pallet as required.

Storage & Handling: The filling material must be well protected against dampness or moisture. 

Shelf Life: 6 Months.
