Product Description:

Deltas for EAF and refining furnaces made by PRCO are innovatively designed for a wide range of operating conditions including thermal shock, steel slag washing and gas attack, high-temperature radiation and the air abrasion caused by dust flow. The castables, with cement or without cement, are both made under the guidance of fundamental theory for the refractories, they are manufactured by using ultrafine powder technology, high-quality binders and additives, and the precise distribution of the grain size to meet with different customers’ needs.  

PN series of deltas for EAF and refining furnaces feature good thermal shock resistance, superior erosion/corrosion resistance, good volume stability and long service life. It is suitable for normal EAF, ultra-high power EAF, refining furnace and VD furnace roofs.

This product has been successfully applied in the EAF, refining furnace and VD furnace over 30 steel plants including Zhujiang Steel, Anyang Steel, Hangzhou Iron and Steel, Bayi Steel, Sha Steel and Xingcheng Special Steel. It has won the third prize of Henan Science and Technology Progress Award and the title of National Important New Product in 2003.
