Conventional tundish upper nozzles and submerged entry nozzles prevent clogging by sacrificing the service life while PRCO innovatively developed porous upper nozzle series to solve the problem. Including changeable type (changing the SEN quickly and ensure the casting continuously) and normal type. In this way, the average service life of tundish for slab casting have reached more than 10 hours.

PRCO has been supplying porous upper nozzles to customers like Shaoguan Steel, Ningbo Steel, Bayi Steel, Xinyu Steel, Shagang and AMK in Ukraine. The average life have reached the same even exceed other imported products, which is approved by the customers.

This product was approve by Science and Technology Committee of Henan Province in 2005. Meanwhile, the assembled porous changeable tundish upper nozzles were applied for patent in 2010.
